DUI-Risk Reduction Course Details:
According to Georgia Department of Driving services, DUI-Risk Reduction course is an intervention program required by law for people convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI), possession of illegal drugs, underage possession of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle, or Boating Under the Influence (BUI).
It consists of two parts:
Part 1 – Assessment
Part 2 – Intervention /DUI-Risk Reduction 20 Hours Class
Both parts must be successfully completed in order to obtain a certificate of completion.

How is the DUI-Risk Reduction Course Structured?
DUI -Risk Reduction course has two parts:
1. Assessment (NEEDS Assessment)
2. Intervention (DUI-Risk Reduction 20 Hours Class).
Students must complete both parts to receive a Certificate of Completion. According to the Georgia Department of Driving Services;

The Assessment Component is completed first. It is a 130-question comprehensive screening instrument used to evaluate the extent of an individual’s alcohol and drug use and its impact on driving.

The Intervention Component is administered after completion of the Assessment Component. It is a 20-hour course comprised of several sessions covering several days and delivered in a group environment. The Intervention Component is designed to offer therapeutic education and peer group counseling about alcohol and drug use and its effect on driving.
DUI-Risk Reduction Course - Attention Policy
We strongly recommend that you consider our flexible schedules and take into account any potential scheduling conflicts you may have since students that arrive late, leave early or are absent to any session can expect to be denied entry into class and may be required to start the course over again, at full cost.
Certificate of Completion
At the end of class, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
The DDS rules and regulation forbid late entry to any session of the course, so we suggest you arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to each session.
The total for the complete DUI course also known as DUI Risk Reduction Course is $360.00 ($100.00 Assessment fee + $235.00 class fee + $25.00 book fee).
